Privacy policy
How the MakeBanq website handles account, content, and connected brokerage information.
Prepared October 6, 2026 · Owner review pending
Information you provide
MakeBanq processes account details such as your email, name, and chosen account role; creator profile fields and sharing choices; posts and uploaded media; saved creators; and messages or applications you submit. Authentication is handled by Supabase, including Google sign-in when you choose it.
Connected brokerage information
When you connect a brokerage through SnapTrade, MakeBanq receives information made available through that connection, which can include account identifiers, balances, positions, activity, and reporting timestamps. Connection tokens are used by the backend to request data. The MakeBanq interface provides read-only brokerage reporting; it does not offer trade execution or money transfers. Your brokerage and SnapTrade also apply their own terms and privacy policies.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate accounts, maintain creator profiles, display educational content, save your preferences, retrieve connected brokerage reports, answer support requests, and operate the service. Waitlist details are used to review early-access requests and contact applicants. Support and application forms use a keyed, daily network identifier for abuse limits; this application does not store the raw IP address in form records.
Visibility and sharing
Published creator profiles and the information selected for sharing may be visible to other people who can access the platform. Content visibility depends on publication and subscriber settings. Account ownership and permissions control access to private brokerage records. Publishing content creates a risk that viewers copy or share it outside MakeBanq. Review your profile preview and sharing controls before publishing.
Service providers
The independent website uses Vercel for hosting and Supabase for authentication, database storage, and uploaded files. SnapTrade provides brokerage connectivity. Market data is requested through Massive. Google processes sign-in when selected. These providers may process technical request information as part of delivering their services. External creator links and embedded media are operated by their respective providers.
Browser storage
Browser storage supports sign-in sessions, drafts, saved portfolio groups, and interface preferences. Clearing it can remove local drafts and sign you out. Some profile and content records are stored in the server database and are not removed by clearing your browser.
Your choices and requests
You can edit profile information and sharing selections in account settings, and manage connected brokerages in the verification area. Contact MakeBanq to request access, correction, deletion, or help with an account or application. Identity verification may be needed before private information is provided or removed. Disconnecting a brokerage prevents further access through that connection but does not by itself erase previously stored records.
Retention and security
Account and service records are retained to operate the account, provide the features requested, and address support, security, or legal requirements. Deletion requests are reviewed for the records involved, applicable obligations, and backup limitations. Access controls and provider security measures help protect information; no online system can promise absolute security.
Changes
This page may be updated when the service or its data practices change. The date above identifies this version. Material changes should be reviewed before continuing to use affected features.
